Sarah’s Inn’s Together We Inspire educational breakfast connects experts with corporate, business and civic leaders, as well as community members, on timely social issues, to drive progress in our communities and workplaces. This year’s event will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the recently adopted Karina’s Law, which will enhance legal provisions to mandate firearm removal when a domestic violence survivor receives an order of protection that includes firearm restrictions. The breakfast will include a discussion lead by Michele Weldon and will include Maralea Negron from The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence, as well as Kira, a survivor of domestic violence who was one of the leading advocates for Karina’s Law.
