The 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training is the foundational, state-required certificate training for new domestic violence professionals, including volunteers and interns. This training prepares individuals to work directly with survivors and equips anyone interested in addressing domestic violence in their communities with essential knowledge and skills.

This training is open to Sarah’s Inn crisis line volunteers and members of the community interested in learning more about supporting survivors of domestic violence.

The May 2026 training will be held in person at the Sarah’s Inn office in Forest Park on Monday, May 11 – Friday, May 15, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. 

Registration is $350 per person, with discounts available for volunteers and partner organizations.
