Join us for Sarah’s Inn’s comprehensive Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) Facilitator Training this Fall! This in-person training is designed to equip you with the essential skills and tools needed to effectively facilitate partner abuse intervention groups, adhering to Illinois’s best practices and protocols.


 

Training Schedule & Location

 

This training consists of three full-day, in-person sessions held at Sarah’s Inn:

  • Dates:
    • September 10, 2025, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT
    • September 11, 2025, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT
    • September 12, 2025, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT

 

  • Location: Sarah’s Inn Office 1547 Circle Ave. Forest Park, IL 60130

 

Registration Details

 

The registration fee for this training is $200 per person, which includes all necessary training materials.

  • Registration Deadline: September 1, 2025, or when the participant limit of 25 individuals has been met.
  • Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued after September 1, 2025.

 

Training Participation Agreement

 

To ensure a productive learning environment for all, participants are expected to adhere to the following:

  • Attendance: Participants must be present for all training sessions.
  • Punctuality: Please be on time for every scheduled session. We cannot admit participants after 9:15 AM.
  • Conflicts: If you anticipate any conflicts, please contact David Seeber at davids@sarahsinn.org to discuss potential accommodations.

 

About the Training

 

This PAIP Facilitator Training provides a thorough review of the Illinois Partner Abuse Protocol and teaches best practices for group co-facilitation.

Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Comprehend the key objectives of the Illinois Department of Human Services Protocol.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of essential PAIP curriculum components.
  • Exhibit an understanding of an effective group process with appropriate co-facilitation skills.
  • Understand and gain the tools to engage with difficult participants.
  • Be familiar with PAIP requirements and reporting.

 

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

 

Social Work, Counseling, and ICDVP CEUs are available. Sarah’s Inn is a certified training provider for the 20-Hour PAIP Facilitator Training through the Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professionals Board.
