What is domestic violence, and how can we support survivors? Join Sarah’s Inn for an engaging and informative virtual Domestic Violence 101 presentation, open to all community members. This introductory training provides a foundational understanding of domestic violence, including key dynamics such as the Power and Control Wheel and the Cycle of Violence. Participants will also explore common myths, learn practical ways to support survivors, and review the basics of safety planning. Whether you’re a professional, a student, or simply someone who wants to learn how to better support survivors, this session will provide essential knowledge and practical tools.

Participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and its impact on individuals and families.
- Learn about Sarah’s Inn’s services and intervention strategies.
- Explore holistic, trauma-informed approaches to advocacy and support.
- Walk away with tools to strengthen their role as allies for survivors.

Participants are eligible to receive 1 CEU credit.
