Gain the knowledge and practical skills to facilitate Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) groups through Sarah's Inn's 20-Hour Facilitator Training. This comprehensive, in-person training prepares participants to lead partner abuse intervention groups, reviews the Illinois Partner Abuse Protocol, and teaches best practices for group co-facilitation.

Training Dates

• Thursday, September 24, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, September 25, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

‍Cost: $200 (includes all training materials)

Throughout the training, participants will:

• Explore the objectives of the Illinois Department of Human Services Partner Abuse Intervention Protocol
• Build an understanding of core PAIP curriculum components
• Develop effective group facilitation and co-facilitation skills
• Learn strategies for engaging and responding to challenging participant behaviors
• Understand PAIP requirements, documentation, and reporting expectations

Social Work, Counseling, and ICDVP Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available. Sarah's Inn is a certified provider of the Illinois 20-Hour PAIP Facilitator Training through the Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professionals Board.

Registration Information
Registration closes on September 11, 2026, or when the training reaches its capacity of 25 participants. Cancellations received after September 18, 2026 are not eligible for a refund.

Participation Requirements
Attendance at all three training days is required. Participants are expected to arrive on time each day. Because of the interactive nature of the training, participants arriving after 9:15 AM cannot be admitted. If you anticipate a scheduling conflict, please contact David Seeber in advance to discuss whether accommodations may be possible.
