Virtual February PAIP Training

Events Details

9am - 5pm

Sarah's Inn

Due to the recent surge in Covid-19 and out of concern for the health and safety of our staff, clients, and participants, Sarah’s Inn has decided to shift our 20-Hour PAIP Facilitator Training dates to February 1st-3rd. We will host this training virtually via Zoom.
While this virtual PAIP training meets the DHS training requirement for PAIP staff, due to current ICDVP standards, participants in this virtual training will be unable to use this training towards CPAIP certification. However, CPAIP certification is voluntary and does not prevent an individual from facilitating PAIP groups. Please feel free to reach out to Aniela, Training and Education Program Supervisor, at if you have any questions.

The PAIP Facilitator Training provides individuals with the essential skills and tools necessary to  facilitate partner abuse intervention groups, reviews the Illinois Partner Abuse Protocol, and teaches best practices for group co-facilitation.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Comprehend the key objectives of the Illinois Department of Human Services Protocol
    • Demonstrate an understanding of essential PAIP curriculum components
    • Exhibit an understanding of an effective group process with appropriate co-facilitation skills
    • Understand and gain the tools to engage with difficult participants
    • Be familiar with PAIP Requirements and Reporting

Target Audience for PAIP Facilitator Training: Professionals who work with, or intend to work with, perpetrators of domestic violence.

Social Work, ICDVP, and CPAIP CEUs are available.
Sarah’s Inn is a certified training provider for the 20-Hour PAIP Facilitator Training through the Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professionals Board.
